Active Islanders Ball Hockey Cup- Immanuel Christian School Gym- April 6th 2026

The Active Islanders Ball Hockey Cup will run from approximately 9:30am-3pm on April 6th at Immanuel Christian School Gymnasium(68 Allen St. #2, Charlottetown, PE, C1A 2V8). 

Teams will arrive at 9:30am for registration/tournament meeting and round robin play will begin at approximately 10:00am. Round robin results will be assessed at approximately 12pm during a lunch period and playoffs will begin thereafter. Active Islanders Ball Hockey Cup trophy  and prize presentations will conclude the day.

Tournament Info:

Staying true to our Active Islanders Values, all Elementary School young guns and old bulls welcome(ages 5-12). Each team MUST have two young guns minimum(two players in the kindergarten- grade 3 age group)

Teams will consist of a minimum 5-7 players and 1 Goalie (6 player minimum total). Substitutions will be managed by referees during game if needed. 

Equipment: Helmet, Gloves, Floor Hockey Sticks(No Wooden Sticks, We will have extra sticks on site) soccer shin pads optional. 

Goaltenders should have pads, blocker, trapper and helmet- Chest protector optional. We will also have additional gear on site.

Games will be two 5 minute periods with a short rest in between periods.

The total cost per team is $250+HST(approximately $42 per player with a 6 player team). Included in registration will be a minimum of 4 games played, an Active Islanders T shirt(Team Jersey), snacks, and an opportunity to take home prizes.

An email from a team representative detailing the make up of each team(players and shirt sizes) will be sent to activeislanderspei@gmail.com 

*A non refundable $50 deposit per team will be paid to secure your team’s spot in the tournament. This $50 will be applied to your team’s total payment! You may also pay in full to secure your spot as opposed to making two payments  

Tournament rules and expectations will be covered with all teams in a meeting format prior the ball drop at 10am.
